Farewell, for now..
It has been a wonderful experience with you, ladies. I love this blog but I seriously do not have the time to update it anymore. Makeup artistry, photography, and home are keeping me swamped. I also will be taking up fashion soon. I will be enrolling in a language course on top of that. There is so much going on, that I could not post reviews and tutorials anymore.
I would like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for being there.
Thank you for all the support.
Thank you for not getting tired of my posts.
Thank you for being like my friends and sisters.
I hope this will not be the last time we see each other (online). If ever I will start a blog again, I will let you all know.
Again, thank you. It was delightful to have met all of you, lovelies. :-)

REVIEW: Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation

It is not at all simple to find the right foundation for you. It's trial and error. I have discarded more than a couple bottles/jars of foundation because I found out after 2 or 3 times of use that something was just not right. Eventually, I've become incredulous when buying beauty products -- and this attitude helped me save a few dollars. :-)
However, getting Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Long lasting Foundation was a right decision. It is by far the best foundation I have ever got.
Product: 5 out of 5
Packaging: 5 out of 5
Price: 3 out of 5
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT:
1. It's oil-free!
2. It has SPF (15)
3. It is lightweight and glides on my skin like satin
4. It stays on for hours
5. It reduces the visibility of pores. Yay!
6. It has a natural, semi-dewy finish
7. It makes my skin appear less oily
8. It comes in a pump dispenser bottle
WHAT I DISLIKE ABOUT IT:
1. It's a bit pricey. But I can live with that. :-)
2. This foundation is meant for those who have clear skin. It doesn't cover blemishes such as pimples and acne scars.
WILL I BUY IT AGAIN?
YES!!!

Metamorphosis

I've been focusing (too much) on honing my photography skills recently.
These photos have all been taken by me. I am my own guinea pig, more often than not. ;-)
Isn't it amazing how makeup+hair can dramatically alter a person's appearance?

BB Creams= THE TRUTH

Is it me or is the BB cream hype starting to wane?
I'll try to keep my entry concise. This will not be the usual product review you see here in Li(z)terati, as I will discuss not only a certain brand but BB creams in general.
Have BB creams worked for you?
In my case, BRTC Glossy Shining BB Cream served as a good makeup base. It controls oiliness, and keeps the face hydrated. If you are blessed with flawless skin, then BB cream is a good tinted moisturizer.Yet that is all there is to it.
The truth is, BB creams in general are no miracle creams. They are just ordinary beauty products. They cannot make your skin as immaculate as the famous celebrities's. It takes much more than a tube of cream to achieve skin perfection.
I was disappointed, not because I was expecting miracles, but because I have immediatley seen noticeable improvements in my skin when I started using products that did not have as much promises as BB creams have, like Vichy and Bliv (review to be published here soon).
I do not want to dismay you, ladies. This is solely base on my own experience. Perhaps, you got (or will get) satisfactory results. ;-)
But always remember.. flawless skin is a result of:
1. healthy lifestyle
2. effective skincare products
3. beauty treatments
4. good genes
5. scrupulous beauty regimen.
It's all or nothing.

Better Late Than Never

I am the last person I know who got interested in the Twilight series.
To be frank, during the time that Twilight hype was omnipresent, I did not have the faintest clue what it was about. So I did a little research and I found out that it was basically a teen fantasy-romance novel that was made into a movie. The word "teen" caught my eye and it killed whatever curiosity I had. I was like: "Meh! Too juvenile!".
Weeks ago, I went out to check the flea market at China Square Central.. and I found a booth selling brand new books for half the price. I bought a few and I almost ignored Twilight until I told myself that it's a bargain and I wouldn't lose anything anyway if I take it.
and so I did.
I did not even read it until I got sick (it's the weather here in Singapore!) and I had no choice but to stay at home and try to amuse myself so as not to get bored to death.
Before I knew it, I already fell in love with the book. I found myself giggling more than a dozen times while reading it. I felt like I was in my teens again. It was wonderful. The Twilight Fever is still burning deep inside me that I am so anxious that I do not have the entire series in my hands yet. *sigh*

On The Cover

First of all, I miss all of you.
I have received more than a few emails asking me to resume posting beauty/makeup/ fashion tips. I promise I'll get to that soon. :-)
Anyway, I just want to share my latest work on the glossy pages of Men's Folio Magazine. It's my first mag cover too. Thank you so much to Kien and Ian for the opportunity. :-)
I have yet to scan the fashion spreads. :-)
You know what the best part is?
Exposure, Yay!

In The Philippines
My blog is practically dead. I do not even know if I could still maintain it.
By the way, I hope you, ladies, are doing fine.
I was in the Philippines because my grandma was indisposed. I did not have any time at all to meet up with friends because I stayed in the hospital to be a doting nurse. Most nights were sleepless but I am extremely happy because my grandma got better and I was able to show her how much I love and care for her. :-)
Now, I'm back in Singapore and this is my latest work:

I hope to post the usual stuff soon. I missed you all. :-)
